What are your hours?

We're open Monday-Friday 6:30am-8:00pm, Saturday 7:00am-8:00pm, Sunday 7:30am-2:00pm. Click here for directions.

Where do your coffee beans come from?

Our coffee beans come from South America, Africa, and Mexico. The beans come to us green and un-roasted. To ensure freshness, the beans are roasted in small batches right here in the store. Click Here for more information about our fresh-roasted, free-trade beans.

What's that big red machine in the store?

That big, red machine is our coffee bean roaster, Big Red. Roastmaster Dan can roast eight pounds of beans at a time. He roasts almost daily to ensure you get the freshest beans possible!

What if I want fresh roasted coffee beans, but you don't have the kind I'm looking for on the shelf?

You can place an order and have your beans of choice within approximately the next 48 hours.

I need a comfortable place to do my work/homework, do you have wireless internet?

Wireless internet is available to all customers and State of Bean is a great quiet place to do work.

Can my group or club hold a meeting at the State of Bean?

Yes! Small groups can come in anytime or call ahead to reserve a table or two.

Can you roast beans for a fundraiser?

Yes, we can roast any number of beans for any non-profit organization.

Can I order large amounts hot coffee for an off-site meeting or event?

Yes! We offer large orders of freshly brewed coffee. Order coffee in quantities of 3 liters, 15 liters, or 18 liters. Sugar, cream, and cups are available as well.

Can I call my order ahead and pick it up?

Yes! Let us know time you'll be in. We'll have your order ready for you.

My child goes to State of Bean after middle school during the week. Can I set some money aside for their order?

Set up an Electronic Gift Card Account with us! Our computerized gift card accounts can hold any amount of money you choose. When your child comes in, we'll look them up by name and debit your account.
